Aureus Variegated Lemon Thyme is a low-growing groundcover, an aromatic, walkable carpet that softens paths and crevices. Aureus Variegated Lemon Thyme flowers in early summer in shades of yellow, and performs best in part sun to part shade with low watering once established. This groundcover matures to roughly 2-10 inches tall and 12-18 inches wide. It is ideal for edging beds, softening pathways, and holding soil on slopes, offering low-maintenance cover and weed suppression. Well suited to the Canadian climate in zones 4-9, it establishes readily and improves with age. It tolerates dry spells well once its roots are down.
