Gold Rush Dawn Redwood is a hardy evergreen conifer, a fast-growing living fossil with feathery, deciduous needles. Gold Rush Dawn Redwood carries yellow foliage through the season and performs best in full sun with moderate watering once established. This evergreen matures to roughly 50-70 feet tall and 20-30 feet wide. It is ideal for anchoring a bed with colour and form that holds right through winter, offering year-round privacy and winter structure. Space plants about 20-30 feet apart and keep well watered through the first full season while roots establish. Plant in full sun.
