Issai-naga Japanese Wisteria is a hardy climbing vine known for its cascading fragrant flower chains on a powerful woody vine. Issai-naga Japanese Wisteria flowers in late spring in shades of purple, and performs best in full sun with moderate watering once established. This vine matures to roughly 20-30 feet tall and 6-10 feet wide. It is ideal for pergolas, arbours, trellises, and fences, adding vertical interest, offering vertical interest and fast seasonal cover. Once established it needs little attention, making Issai-naga Japanese Wisteria a dependable choice for Canadian gardens. A layer of mulch helps hold moisture and keeps roots cool in summer.
