Little Heath Japanese Pieris is a compact evergreen shrub known for its drooping strands of white bells over glossy evergreen foliage. Little Heath Japanese Pieris flowers in spring in shades of white, and performs best in part sun to part shade with moderate watering once established. This compact evergreen matures to roughly 1.5-2.5 feet tall and 1.5-2.5 feet wide. It is ideal for foundation beds and formal plantings where evergreen structure matters, offering year-round colour and tidy, dependable form. Well suited to the Canadian climate in zones 5-8, it establishes readily and improves with age. A layer of mulch helps hold moisture and keeps roots cool in summer.
