Nora Barlow Columbine is a hardy perennial known for its intricate spurred flowers dancing above ferny blue-green leaves. Nora Barlow Columbine flowers in late spring in shades of purple, and performs best in part sun to part shade with moderate watering once established. This perennial matures to roughly 1.5-3 feet tall and 12-18 inches wide. It is ideal for mixed beds, butterfly gardens, and filling space between shrubs, offering dependable colour that returns every year. Well suited to the Canadian climate in zones 3-8, it establishes readily and improves with age. A layer of mulch helps hold moisture and keeps roots cool in summer.
