Pretty Lady Julia Japanese Anemone is a hardy perennial known for its poised flowers swaying on wiry stems well into autumn. Pretty Lady Julia Japanese Anemone flowers in late summer to fall in shades of pink, and performs best in full sun to part shade with moderate watering once established. This perennial matures to roughly 1.5-4 feet tall and 1.5-2.5 feet wide. It is ideal for planting in drifts through a border, or as a reliable cut flower, offering dependable colour that returns every year. Well suited to the Canadian climate in zones 4-8, it establishes readily and improves with age. A layer of mulch helps hold moisture and keeps roots cool in summer.
