Tara Dwarf Prairie Dropseed is an ornamental grass, the finest-textured native grass, with coriander-scented flowers. Tara Dwarf Prairie Dropseed flowers in late summer to fall in shades of tan, and performs best in full sun with low watering once established. This compact grass matures to roughly 11-16 inches tall and 12-18 inches wide. It is ideal for modern plantings, prairie-style beds, and large containers, offering movement, texture, and winter interest. Well suited to the Canadian climate in zones 3-9, it establishes readily and improves with age. It tolerates dry spells well once its roots are down.
