Troll Maidenhair Tree is a deciduous shade tree, an ancient species with unmistakable fan-shaped leaves that turn pure gold in fall. Troll Maidenhair Tree carries green foliage through the season and performs best in full sun with moderate watering once established. This tree matures to roughly 35-60 feet tall and 25-40 feet wide. It is ideal as a specimen or shade tree on larger properties, where its canopy has room to develop, offering long-term shade and strong seasonal colour. Well suited to the Canadian climate in zones 3-8, it establishes readily and improves with age. A layer of mulch helps hold moisture and keeps roots cool in summer.

Space plants about 25-40 feet apart and keep well watered through the first full season while roots establish. Plant in full sun.
